1Earth Harmony believes that a platform of this importance must be fully open about how it works, who funds it, and how decisions are made.
Who owns 1Earth Harmony?
The platform is an independent initiative of Givinity Foundation, operated as a public benefit project. No single person, company, or government owns it. Governance decisions require consensus from the Global Peace Stewardship Council.
How is it funded?
Through voluntary contributions from individuals and mission-aligned foundations. No funding is accepted from political organizations, religious institutions, or commercial entities that would compromise neutrality.
Who moderates content?
A combination of AI moderation (for spam and harm) and a trained human volunteer moderation team. Moderation guidelines are published and open for community review.
How are decisions made?
By the steward council using a documented consent-based process. Major decisions — especially those affecting the Neutrality Charter — require a supermajority and a public comment period.
What happens if you shut down?
The platform's code, content archive, and charter would be transferred to a neutral custodian (e.g., a registered non-profit or archive institution) rather than sold or deleted.
Governance documents are publicly available and updated with a 30-day community comment period before any changes take effect.
1Earth Harmony is governed by the Global Peace Stewardship Council — not a corporate board. Members hold no equity, receive no financial compensation, and cannot use their position to direct the platform toward any ideology, belief, or commercial interest.
Board Operating Principles
- No member may hold financial interest in the platform
- All decisions affecting the Neutrality Charter require supermajority
- At least one seat permanently reserved for youth representation
- Board composition must reflect global geographic diversity
Data Policy
We collect the minimum necessary to operate the platform. Anonymous session data is never linked to personal identity. We do not sell, trade, or monetize any user data.
